Since its establishment as the only accredited government-affiliated organization in 1989, KOMDI has dedicated over 30 years to enhance the safe carriage of dangerous goods and to prevent pollution to the environment as our missions. This has been accomplished by organizing training programs for person who are involved in the handling of dangerous goods to achieve the requisite knowledge, as well as through inspection of dangerous goods set out by the technical requirements and responsibilities under the IMDG Code. These days we are aware that the requirements to ensure the safety of people, property and the protection of marine environment are constantly increasing in the light of technical progress and the advent of new substances and materials all over the world.
