International Cooperation

Activities of International cooperation promote sustainable maritime development and coordinate regulatory cooperation initiatives with countries. KOMDI regularly attends international meetings of UNSCETDG*, IMO**, IOPC Funds*** with an advisory body’s role of the Republic of Korea. KOMDI fosters global networks to build up human and technical capacities for safer and more secure shipping and enhanced environmental protection.

International Cooperation

  • Participate in international meetings focused on specific technical and emerging issues from a global perspective in respect of safe transport of dangerous goods.
  • Build partnerships with countries, industries, regional institutions to ensure sustainable maritime development, efficient and safe maritime transport services as well as effective environmental protection.
